2020 Resolutions Recap + 2021 Goals
Every year, I write some new goals and revisit the goals I set at the beginning of the year. Here were the goals I set for 2020.
-Go to the TPT conference: Goal accomplished – although it ended up being virtual instead of in person, thanks to COVID. I’m sure the experience wasn’t as good as if I had gone in person!
-Schedule at least one girls’ trip with my high school friends: On hold, again thanks to COVID. I unfortunately haven’t seen them at all this year, which makes me so sad!
-Do more strength training workouts: Goal accomplished. I started doing Heather Robertson’s free 12 week program on YouTube, which includes a lot of strength workouts. I can do cardio forever, but I struggle with strength. My friend and I were accountability partners for this, which really helped! I may cycle back though the program again at some point.
-Enjoy time with my family: Goal accomplished. COVID made us stay home for months, so we got some great family time out of it. My daughter changed so much! At the beginning of quarantine, she was not interested in drawing or doing puzzles, and now she loves to do both. We need to keep buying her puzzles with more pieces, because she loves them so much!
So now my 2021 goals:
- Go to ASHA: As long as it happens in person, it will be in DC which means no travel time for me.
- Put my phone down more: I really want to stop being so tethered to my phone.
- Do a girls’ trip: It’s on the list again!
