Thank You + Freebie + Giveaway

Last week marked another TpT site wide sale! The buzz these sales create is amazing. I am beyond grateful for anyone who made a purchase from my store (during the sale or anytime). 
I picked up what I mentioned in this post and managed to find a couple other things:

So now I’d like to offer a freebie and a giveaway as a thank you! The freebie focuses on story retelling, which is something that so many of my students struggle with. I created these to help them practice this skill. Use these “stick-ups” when you’re reading a book with your students. I included a variety of terms that you might use in your classroom, so feel free to just use some of them. When reading, you students can put the “stick-up” in the book to mark a character, the problem, an emotion, etc. When you’re ready to have them retell, they can turn back in the book and find that detail. I call them “stick-ups” because I designed them so they would stick up out of most books!

  6. I purchased the EET Companion- Describing Daisies by Jen Moses. I was fortunate enough to hear Sara Smith speak at my state convention this Spring and purchased her kit! Can’t wait to try it out and see what a difference it makes with my students!

  10. I’ve got my eye on Verb-itions and Fruit Bowl Fluency. My favorit purchase from the sale was Articulation Progress Monitoring Tool for Speech Language Therapy by Natalie Snyders. I already owned her Grammar Progress Monitoring Tool and use it all the time, so I took the opportunity to grad it at a discount!

  11. I bought a number of different activities, but Commenting Visuals for Children Who are Non-Verbal will (hopefully) be a hit with my children on the spectrum and get us away from the “I want __________.” communications.

  12. I purchased Commenting Visuals for Children who are Nonverbal from The Autism Helper. I’m hoping it will be a hit with my students on the spectrum and get us further along in our challenge to communicate more than “I want __________.”

  14. I bought so many great products at the recent TPT sale that I am really anxious to use. I can’t name a favorite yet as I haven’t busted into my purchase. I bought from well over a dozen of the fabulous SLP bloggers out there. Just wanted to say that you all are making my SLP therapy life fun, fun, fun! So many creative ideas out there. I’m hooked. A product that I have been using from the Feb 2014 TPT sale that I have found very useful is Listening Comprehension Screening from the Speech Bubble.

    One product that I have been using from the previous Feb TPT sale that has been very useful is the Listening Comprehension Screening passages from the Speech Bubble.

  19. I liked the There Was A Silly SLP Who Got Stuck To Some…Plurals. As a grad student is helped having a pre and post test to us for the baseline to measure progress.

  23. I went a little too crazy during the sale! I’m still laminating and cutting it all! My favorite is the “Design a Town” activity. Basic education teachers have been so impressed by this activity! Everyone compliments me when I use it and I tell them exactly where it came from. 🙂
