Artic: Earth Day Articulation it is, and did I mention it’s FREE? Grab it now. We also will be doing a simple paper plate earth craft that I again forgot to snap a picture of before leaving work today. Fail. But it’s similar to the one I used last year, except I cut up blue and green squares of paper so the kids can glue onto a paper plate.
K-2nd: Using Sprint and Shop and a baseball passage from Nicole Allison’s Nonfiction Spring Passages.
3rd-5th: I’m using Flower Petal Conjunctions (it’s free) and Earth Day Extravaganza! This packet targets categories, conversation skills, pronouns, irregular past tense verbs, listening for details, describing and Earth Day related vocabulary.
Social: I usually have a lunch bunch with some kids, but sometimes I like going into the lunch room to see how the kids are doing there too. It’s definitely important to assess skills across environments.
Autism: Using a free Earth Day book called A Happy Planet and Pop the Bubbles Functional Language, plus the earth craft.
Charging through April!!! Enjoy!
