Peek At My Week 1/10

The week after break is always a little rough, but we’re now getting settled into January. I’m still getting used to writing “16” instead of “15” for the year! Here are my plans for the week:
Artic: I’m using a simple hat template and we’re going to write artic words on the hat and color it.
K-2nd: We’re reading The Hat by Jan Brett, coloring a worksheet I found on her website to accompany the book, and my new Leveled Adjective Flipbook.
3rd-5th: I’m using the Winter Sports theme from S.A.L.L. for ALL and Super Power Speech’s Snow Much Fun Level 3.
Social: My students loved the animated films last week, and it was a great way to work on body language and facial expressions, so I’m doing it again. I plan to use this one and some Inside Out clips.
Autism: I’m using WH Question Scenes (Gloria Rojas), Popsicle Stick Language, Winter People Sentences (Speech Universe), Interactive Playhouse (Alison Fors), and making the recycled snow globes that I posted about on Friday.
Hope you all have a good week!
