Peek At My Week 11/22

We have a three day week upon us due to Thanksgiving! I’m also being observed this week, so here’s hopping that goes well. If you want some observation tips, read this post. Here’s the plan:
Craft: I printed out some black and white food graphics to cut out and put on a plate. We can describe the foods (great use for the EET), talk about our favorites, etc.
Artic: I’m using Mirror-TIC! This is an oldie, but a goodie in my room. If you’re unfamiliar with these, you hold them up to the mirror and the word appears. Kids love it! I have several different versions.
K-2nd: I’m using Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano, the plate craft, and a turkey wanted poster from Deanna Jump.
3rd-5th grade: I’m using Language Candy Board Games from The Speech Bubble SLP and a context clues passage from Kristen Tulsian.
Social: We’re using Thanksgiving Would You Rather? from Rachel Lynette. It should garner a lot of discussion!
Autism: We’re doing the plate craft, Fill the Thanksgiving Table, and the Thanksgiving page from Structured Sentence Building (Queen’s Speech).
I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and enjoy some good food and family!
