Peek At My Week 1/26

This week it’s all about data. The quarter ends soon, so I want to make sure I have plenty of data. I take data almost every session anyway, but one more data point can’t hurt. How do I plan on accomplishing this? With Speech & Language Zoo, of course!
While I’ll be collecting data, I still want my kids to have fun, so I have a fun, easy craft for you this week. I whipped up this mug template (click on it to grab your copy).
It’s very open-ended on purpose, so you can write in artic words, synonyms/antonyms, vocab words, etc. Let them go to town decorating it and add some cotton balls for marshmallows. Here’s my example:
Speech & Language Zoo – I can use this in conjunction with the craft. Kids do the craft, I get data – win, win for everyone:
Flip & Clip: Adjectives – my students have really been liking this! I like the predictable format because that’s helping my students focus on the adjectives.
Autism iHelp WH Questions app:
A-Z book from Super Power Speech:
Lids and Lizards has frequently been added lately too! My kiddos are more excited about picking up the lids than they are about finding the lizards!
What are your plans for the week?
I’m also linking up with Mary from Old School Speech for her Week in Review, so check her post out too.
I’m planning a craft very similar to yours this week! By the way…my week in review linky is up until Thursday! 😉
