Peek At My Week 9/20
Second full week of therapy! Just starting to get back in the groove. Here are my plans for this week:
Articulation: I’m using Crazy Speech World’s Fall No Prep worksheets. This packet is awesome!
K-2nd: Using other parts of Fall No Prep and Building Block Sentences.
3rd-5th: Using Flip & Clip Independent Work, S.A.L.L. for ALL: Fall (Apples), and Making Inferences from Buzzing with Ms. B.
The apples theme targets: associations, sentence formulation, different types of apples, directions, articulation, and fictional stories.
Social: Last year, my lunch bunch group had great fun with Mr. Bean videos on YouTube. They were great to work on facial expressions and body language, among other language skills.
Autism: Flip and Clip Pronouns, Interactive Vocabulary Books for the House (Speech Room News), Candy Basic Concepts (Speech Language Pirates), Grocery Games, and Fall Differentiated Scenes (Speech Time Fun).
Don’t worry, I don’t just use TPT stuff! I pair it with Pop Up Pirate, Connect Four, and other easy to adapt games that hold the students’ attention.
