Peek At My Week 9/27

It’s already the end of September. I think I’ve done about 15 revisions to my schedule already. Don’t worry, that won’t be the last of it. Here’s what is on the agenda for this week:
For a craft, I’m using the apple tree page from Say and Phonology and Artic Fun Sheets. I’m using it for most of my younger kids as a reinforcer.
Articulation: I’m using specific pages from 50 Quick Play Artic Games (whichever ones correspond to my students).
K-2nd: I’m using the apples theme from S.A.L.L. for ALL and reading a book from Epic! called Apples in Fall. Epic is my new favorite app! As a school based SLP/teacher, you can get a free account to read tons of books on your iPad.
3rd to 5th: Using different parts of S.A.L.L. Apples and my no print Falling Language, which targets synonyms, antonyms, context clues (Tier 2 words), main idea, multiple meaning words, describing, complex sentences, and inferences (fall/school items).
Autism: I’m using September: Push Print, Pronoun/Verb Popsicle Sticks, WH Question Scenes (Speech Language Pirates), Pop the Bubble Functional Language, and Pick the Pronoun. I have kids ranging from 1-6th, so I choose materials based on their ages/goals.
As always, I mixed the above items up with commercially available games. I don’t usually plan those or I’ll give the kids a choice. Happy almost October!
