{Review} Mbriks
Today I’m bringing you a review of a Mbriks! These nifty little things are basically magnetic legos that you can build with. They are compatible with Legos. Read more here.
Disclaimer: I was provided with a sample; however, all opinions expressed are my own.
Since Mbriks are magnetic, you can use them with regular legos and a structure will adhere to any magnetic surface. I tried it out with the magnetic surface that was provided to me, but any will do.
In one package, you receive 4 Mbriks. This is what the package directions say:
You can rotate the Mbriks in any direction. They recommend building a structure and then attaching a couple Mbriks to make it stick to a magnetic surface. I tried it out first with a preschool student, so he wasn’t as interested in building larger structures. He thought it was cool that they stuck to the surface of the frame though!
I really like that you can use Legos with the Mbriks, because a lot of my students love using Legos.
I could definitely see some of my older students getting into building bigger things! I’d need to purchase some kind of larger magnetic surface and more Mbriks to challenge them.
Overall, I like the concept! I do wish you got more Mbriks in a package, as I feel like my students would love to have more. I also really like that they are compatible with Legos, as I already have a bunch of those. It’s something new and interesting that my students enjoyed playing with. I could still definitely build therapy around them, which for me is a win! I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to review these.
