{Review}: Spark Cards
Today, I’m bringing you a review! When I saw these Spark cards from Spark Innovations, I was immediately intrigued. I’m always looking for new and interesting materials to engage my students. Keep reading to the end for an opportunity to win a set!!
There are 8 sets of cards for each sequence. Each sequence has 6 cards.
You can have students sequence the cards and describe what’s happening in each picture. The cards have a lot of details, which makes it great for narrative language in addition to sequencing. These cards are great for WH questions, vocabulary development, expanding length of utterance, transitional words, verbs, and so much more. You don’t have to use all 6 cards at once if it’s too much for your student, you can use 3 or 4. There are also problems depicted in the sequences, which is great for problem solving and executive functioning skills.
What I Like:
-the sequences are everyday events, so they are perfect for a range of ages
-the pictures are engaging and colorful with a lot of details
-you can target so many goals with these
What I Would Love To See:
-I just wish there were more sequences in each box!
These cards are available on Amazon (affiliate link below) for $25.99:
