Silly Play Dough Pizza
Today I’m sharing a fun and easy therapy idea that I’ve been using a lot with my little friends. They’ve been loving it! First, I bought some Dinky Doodads from this wonderful shop on Etsy (I have no affiliation with the shop). You can see what I mean here. I definitely plan on buying more, but to get started I bought a set of 50 large trinkets. You might have seen other bloggers sharing how they use these in sensory bins. I do plan on doing that later.
So back to the idea. Most of my students love to make pizza out of play dough. So we rolled out a pizza base and then talked about what we wanted to add to our silly pizza. It was a great way to work on speech sounds, increasing overall length of utterance, and describing.
Will you try this? I’d love to know in the comments!!
