Using #blizzard2016 in Speech Therapy

If you reside on the East Coast, you probably were graced with A LOT of snow over the weekend. So why not use it in speech? After all, it’s a very current event.

It’s easy! Search #blizzard2016 or #jonas2016 (or similar hashtags) and see what pictures pop up. Be mindful and don’t do this in front of your students (just in case you get something you didn’t bargain for). Just pick pictures and save them to your camera roll. Show them one by one and have fun describing, generating sentences, and more!

I saw some really great ones, like a video of Tian Tian (panda) playing in the snow, some dogs playing in the snow, snowmen, and more. You can also look here for pictures!
