Your One Stop Shop for Speech Therapy
If you’re a new SLP or you’re looking for something that you can use with almost every student on your caseload, check out my Therapy in a Box resources. There are 5 total, each are sold separately and as a money-saving bundle. They all fit in the rainbow storage boxes from Michael’s (click here for a link). Fair warning, they take awhile to prep (except for the two low prep ones), but it’s worth it!
Articulation/Phonological Therapy in a Box: Early Developing Sounds: This one includes /p, b, m, n, w, t, d, k, g, f/, final consonant deletion, gliding, stopping, cluster reduction, fronting, and syllable deletion.
Articulation in a Box: Later Developing Sounds: This one includes /v, SH, CH, TH, J, l, s, z/, prevocalic /r/, vocalic /r/, s-blends, l-blends, r-blends. It also includes phrase level, sentence level, and conversational level cards.
Language Therapy in a Box: This one includes: similarities/differences, multiple meaning words, pronouns (subjective and possessive), verbs (present and past), listening comprehension, prepositions, categories, describing, plurals (regular and irregular), WH questions, sequencing, main idea, inferences, following directions (1 and 2 step), context clues (Tier 2 words), and synonyms/antonyms.
Low Prep Themes in a Box: There are 16 different themes: pets, zoo, food, community places, community helpers, farm, clothing, transportation, fall, winter, spring, summer, ocean, space, school, and home. For each one, there are at least 24 sheets that fit into each task box. I also included some book suggestions, YouTube video links (songs, educational videos), and other toys that pair perfectly with each theme. You may already have some of them! Low Prep Articulation/Phonology in a Box: There are 6 cards each for initial, medial, and final /p, b, m, n, t, d, k, g, f, v, sh, ch, l, th, j, s, z/. There are 6 mixed position cards for these sounds. On the bottom left hand corner of the card, there is IP, MP, or FP (initial position, medial position, final position) or mixed position. There are 6 cards for initial /r/ and 6 for vocalic /r/ (or, ear, air, er, ire, and ar). There are at least 6 cards for each type of /l, r, s/ blend in the initial position. There are at least 6 cards for each type of phonological process (final consonant deletion, cluster reduction, fronting, stopping, syllable deletion, and gliding). In addition to sounds, there is a conversational box which includes 2 picture scenes for each sound and phonological process.
