Clinical Skills Confidence: Presenting Evaluations

Presenting evaluations to the parents and school team can be nerve-wracking. Here are my 5 best tips to keep you on track and help you stay confident:
- Print out a copy of your evaluation and highlight key points
- Keep the jargon to a minimum and make sure to explain any terms you do use
- Talk slowly
- Be concise, as usually there are other people presenting results too
- Ask if anyone has any questions
The more you do this, the easier it becomes but I still get a little nervous when I have to present so it’s normal!
