Clinical Skills Confidence: Presenting Evaluations

Presenting evaluations to the parents and school team can be nerve-wracking. Here are my 5 best tips to keep you on track and help you stay confident:

  1. Print out a copy of your evaluation and highlight key points
  2. Keep the jargon to a minimum and make sure to explain any terms you do use
  3. Talk slowly
  4. Be concise, as usually there are other people presenting results too
  5. Ask if anyone has any questions

The more you do this, the easier it becomes but I still get a little nervous when I have to present so it’s normal!
