Dollar Tree Nonfiction Books for Speech Therapy

Pretty much every time I step foot in a Dollar Tree, I find something new to use in therapy. My last trip was no different. I spotted these nonfiction books and knew I had to grab them:

As you can see, there are short little nonfiction passages about a variety of topics. These are so great to make quick copies of for your students to highlight unknown vocabulary words, answer comprehension questions, and work on recalling details. For many of my students, nonfiction passages are so much harder to comprehend because there is so much more information in them. Plus, the vocabulary can be daunting. I will be adding these to my therapy rotation for sure!

Have you seen these books? I’m going to keep my eye out for more!
