Easy Snowman Reinforcer

Today, I’m bringing you a quick and easy snowman reinforcer idea that I came across on a whim last week. For some reason, I thought I had a reinforcer already copied for my younger kids, but didn’t. So I improvised.

I gave each child a piece of paper and crayons. I instructed them that we would be drawing a snowman piece by piece. Each child had their own stimuli deck or picture based on their goals. We did round robin so each got a turn with their skill and then we began the snowman.

I drew one too, so they could see. Began with 3 snowballs, then the hat, eyes, nose, mouth, buttons, scarf, arms, and finally snowflakes. It took the whole session, but they left with their completed snowman. It was really great for targeting directions, basic concepts (top, bottom, middle, colors, shapes, etc), and kept them engaged for the entire time!
