eBay Finds for Speech Therapy

I’ve used eBay for years to find lower cost therapy materials, and thought I’d share some of my favorite finds. Keep in mind that auctions are always starting and ending, so finding the exact items I did might not work. I will place links for the things that I’ve found.

I wanted a spiral binding machine for awhile, but the prices on Amazon were pretty high. I did some searching and found a Trubind S20A coil machine for $165 here. I did purchase the coils on Amazon though. It was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my therapy materials! The coils are so much better than the combs.

If you’re a fan of Super Duper products, they have an eBay store here with some older (but still very useful) products. Something that I learned is you can make an offer and as long as it is 50% of the “buy it now” price, it will be accepted. You know I love Hi-Lo reading passages and I’ve gotten the books that I have off either Amazon or eBay. I had to repurchase the books, because somehow they both grew legs and walked off. Listings for the ones I have are here and here.

You can also find books at low cost if you search “used.” I’ve gotten a bunch of books this way because I don’t really care if they’re in brand new condition. My students don’t either!
