Peek At My Week 11/25

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving break. I have a busy week ahead of me, including my supervisor coming out to observe me this Friday (which always makes me nervous no matter how many times I’ve done it).

Here are my plans for this week:

Artic: We’re doing playing card articulation. Get a deck of cards, remove the face cards, shuffle and draw cards. Whatever number is drawn is the number of words or the number of times the student has to say words. I usually use my ipad to get words.

Language K-2: We’re reading The Magician’s Hat with the no prep book companion and playing with Mental Blox – which have been a great way to work on language and problem solving skills.

Language 3-6: We’re using Candy Bag Listening Comprehension, Flip & Clip Independent Work, and Mental Blox (for some of the kids).

Autism: I’m using Visual Verb Sentences and Interactive Descriptive Sorts.

Have a great week! Only four more to winter break for me!
