Spring Books for Speech Therapy

Today, I’m sharing all the spring themed books I currently have in my speech room!

Disclaimer: Affiliate links are included for your convenience. If you make a purchase via one of these links, I receive a small percentage.

All of these books also have a no prep book companion, available on TPT! I’m continually adding to this bundle (goal is to get it up to 100 before the school year ends).

  1. Animal Strike At the Zoo: This is a funny story about animals going on strike and their demands to the zookeeper.

2. Bear Wants More: A story about a bear who wakes up feeling very hungry and his quest to fill his tummy.

3. Curious George Visits the Zoo: I couldn’t find a link for the version I have, but it’s the usual pattern with George!

4. Grandma Lena’s Big Ol’ Turnip: The is a variation of a couple other books I have.

5. There Was An Old Lady who Swallowed a Chick: The old lady is back, swallowing silly things.

6. Puddles: A new book to me this year. Kids play in the puddles and mud and see a lot of animals along the way.

7. The Giant Carrot: A variation of a couple other books I have.

8. The Gingerbread Man Loose at the Zoo: This is a rhyming book set at the zoo.

9. The Listening Walk: You can talk about the sounds you hear in your environment.

10. The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear: A simple story with great illustrations.

11. The Mother’s Day Mice: This is a cute story about how you don’t necessarily have to buy a tangible gift for mom on Mother’s Day.

12. The Night Before Mother’s Day: This is a cute story about getting prepared for Mother’s Day.

13. The Night Before St. Patrick’s Day: Similar to the story above, except it’s in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day.

14. The Wind Blew: The wind blows different items up in the air.

15. Too Many Carrots: This is a cute story about having too much of one thing.

16. Tops and Bottoms: This teaches a lesson about hard work.

17. Turkey’s Eggcellent Easter: Stars the same turkey as Turkey Trouble.

18. Up in the Garden, Down in the Dirt: This is another new book for me this year, but the illustrations are really pretty.

I hope this gives you some ideas for books to use this spring!
