Spring Themed Resources for Speech Therapy

Spring is upon us, so I want to share some of my favorite spring themed resources!

Spring Task Box: This cute little task box includes background cards, actions, vocabulary, similarity/difference cards, prepositions cards, describing cards, following directions, and story comprehension cards.

Editable Core Word Mini Books: Spring: These are editable, so you can put in whatever symbols your AAC user is using.

Spring Language Flip Book: The activities included are: story comprehension/retell, answering WH questions, asking WH questions, synonyms, antonyms, similarities/differences, describing, inferences, adjectives, prepositions, context clues (3rd and 4th grade Tier 2 words), homophones, main idea and pronouns/verbs. There are 5 pages per skill.

Spring Inferences with Tier 2 Vocabulary Cards: Work on story retell, comprehension, inferences and Tier 2 vocabulary!

Blooming Flowers of Articulation craft: Use this fun craft to make a flower craft and work on articulation skills at the same time.

Blooming Flowers of Language craft: Use this fun craft to make a flower craft and work on language skills at the same time.

Plant the Flowers Reverse Interactive Book: This reverse interactive book and accompanying activities can target a variety of concepts, including: WH and yes/no questions, retelling, colors, sentence formulation, and prepositions.Instead of putting items in the book, your students will be taking items out of the book and placing them on a separate page to “plant the flowers.”

SALL for ALL: Spring/Summer: There are six theme: 4 for spring and 2 for summer. In each theme, there are several different activities to choose from. The spring themes are: backyard creatures, flowers, gardening, and rain. The summer themes are: ice cream and ocean.


Earth Day Extravaganza: The following skills are targeted: categories, conversation starters, pronouns, irregular past tense, listening for details, category sort (paper vs. plastic), describing, and narrative writing.
