Informal Speech Therapy Assessments

I currently have 6 informal speech therapy assessments in my TPT store. Today, I’m going to share all of them just in case you’ve missed some!

FREE Informal Screener: 14 Early Developing Morphemes: This assesses a student’s production of Brown’s 14 Morphemes.

Functional Life Skills Informal Assessment: This assesses a student’s knowledge of safety signs, personal hygiene, what they need for a situation, how to do basic routines, money, safety skills, occupations, classroom behavior, categories, and what doesn’t belong.

Higher Level Language Informal Assessment: This assesses inferences from description and short stories, context clues, prediction, figurative language, multiple meaning words, problem solving, main idea, synonyms and antonyms.

Informal Apraxia Assessment: This assesses vowels, VC, CV, CVCV, CVC, CVCVC, blends, 3 and 4 syllable words, and intelligibility.

Informal Language Assessment: This assesses WH questions, associations, object functions, sentence construction, plurals, prepositions, following directions, basic emotions, basic vocabulary, categories, and basic concepts.

Informal Preschool Language Assessment: This assesses both receptive and expressive language skills:

Receptive Language Skills (red outline): 1 step directions, 2 step directions, colors, actions, spatial concepts, object function, associations, categories

Expressive Language Skills (blue outline): naming nouns, naming body parts, answering WH questions, basic concepts, actions, regular past tense verbs, formulating sentences, categories, plurals, 2 picture scenes to collect conversational notes
